You can then access your data stored in the cloud via the internet using any of your devices computers mobile devices etc. Access google drive with a free google account for personal use or google workspace account for business use. You can change this later in the app settings.

When using chrome in windows 10 if i download something from google drive the downloaded item appears in the bar at the bottom of the browser window with a downward pointing arrow just to the right of the file name. In your events report you can see that all file downloads are being categorized as download. If you click on that arrow a pop up menu appears which includes the option to see the file in the folder where it resides.
